Known for its excellent location and top-notch amenities, our campsite and RV park provide access to a dedicated service center featuring restrooms, hot showers, a spacious dining room, and a kitchen. Enjoy free Wi-Fi in public areas, and take advantage of washing machines and dryers available for a small fee.

Relax with plenty of hot water for long, soothing showers – though, like much of Iceland, our naturally sourced hot water carries a hint of sulfur, a reminder of its geothermal origins. Rest assured, our cold water is some of the purest and most refreshing you’ll ever drink.

Our service center also offers coffee, tea, soft drinks, wine and beer daily.

Our RV park is ideal for guests traveling in motorhomes, campers, or caravans, with 40 pitches offering electric hook-ups. Motorhome facilities include a chemical disposal point and access to drinking water.

The location couldn’t be better! We’re just a 5-minute walk from the local swimming pool and a large playground, and only 10 minutes from the town center, where you’ll find supermarkets, restaurants, and the post office.

• Please ensure all guests register and pay for their stay at our service center before setting up camp. If an employee needs to collect payment directly at the campsite or RV park, an additional service fee will apply.
• To maintain a peaceful environment, unnecessary vehicle traffic is not allowed between midnight and 7:00 AM. Please keep noise levels low, especially during quiet hours from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM, and kindly limit alcohol consumption. Intoxication is not permitted on the campsite.
• Keep your campsite and its surroundings clean and tidy. Dispose of waste in the provided refuse and recycling bins, use chemical disposal points where needed, and leave all shared facilities clean after use.
• Open fires are not allowed.
• Failure to follow these rules may result in expulsion from the campsite.
• Gesthús is not liable for guests’ personal property.
