It´s the perfect choice for people who want simple and affordable accommodation.
Gesthús bungalows are equipped with a private bathroom, kitchenette and private entrance. The bungalows are 17 m², perfect for one to three adults or a family with two young children. The bungalows are located in the “forest” in a quiet and tranquil environment. Some would say the atmosphere is relaxed and homely.
The bathroom has a shower, WC, washbasin, toiletries and towels. We have plenty of hot water for long and relaxing showers but as common in Iceland, our hot water smells like sulfur as it comes straight from the ground.
The kitchen has a stovetop, refrigerator, kitchenware, tableware for 3, electric kettle, sink and dining area. And yes, opposite to our hot water that is not made for drinking, only bathing, our cold water is awesome – one of the best drinks you will have in Iceland, and it is free!
Guests staying in the bungalows are welcome to use the nice and warm geothermal hot tubs, located at the service center. They are also welcome to use the washing machine and dryer, located next to the service center, for free.
Our bungalows serve as your tranquil haven, inviting you to relax, recharge, and revel in the breathtaking beauty of Iceland.

- Please take off your outdoor shoes.
- Please leave the kitchen clean, do not leave dirty pots/pans/dishes in the sink.
- Smoking is completely forbidden inside the house. Smoking is permitted outside the house, please use the ashtrays.
- We recycle plastic and glass bottles (only drinking bottles). Please put them into the green container outside.
- Keep the room locked at all times when absent.
